100 WC Week 33 (Tower Photo)

May26

The monsters flowed toward her, shrouds of dark anger. She spotted her refuge less than 20 meters away and ran faster, the prospect of escape pushing her on. Finally, she arrived at the base of the tower, panting. Her breath trembled as she grasped the rain-slicked stones of the tower. Slowly and steadily, she made her way up. At the halfway point, she risked a look down. The dizzying height almost made her lose a grip, and she forced herself to look up. The climb felt endless, and she was so tired now. Would it hurt to just let go…?

As the tower loomed menacingly in the night sky. Bob stood there, looking up at the tower that reached into the night sky and farther beyond. Clutching his sword, Bob went up to the door of the tower and silently entered, sensing for any signs of sound or movement in the darkness. Sensing something coming up behind him, Bob dove to the left just as a spear passed through right where his head was. Twisting, Bob thrust his sword at his attacker, stabbing him in the chest. Fighting, Bob went up the rest of the tower.

The tall eroding spire seemed to crumble under the force of the wind, as I neared I heard a faint scurrying of rats. On the starboard side of the spire sat an old oak wood door. I yanked on the handle, it didn’t budge. I then resorted to kicking it in, BOOM the door fell off the frame and I stepped inside. Inside there was a spiral staircase, with several steps missing. As I neared the top I saw a faint splash of light in a tower filled with darkness. At the top was a magnificent view of the ocean.

The girl with Purple eyes by Charlotte S.

May17

Colors sparkled as Trix and Leah jumped into the pit. Trix was a brown-haired girl with big purple eyes. Leah was a blonde-haired girl with soft brown eyes. No one has ever been down into the pit because no one has ever come out. When they reached the bottom Leah and Trix discovered thousands of gleaming crystals in a small tavern. Leah tried to touch them but Trix swatted her hand away.

“ You can’t touch them remember,” she said.

“ Yes, you can’t touch them.” Said a squeaky voice coming from the dark corridor. Trix and Leah leaped back. A small figure with an emerald green cloak emerged. The figure took off its cloak to reveal a small elf-looking thing. It had pointy ears and a round chubby stomach, and big bulging green eyes.

“ Who are you?” Asked Leah squeezing Trix’s hand.

“ Oh, I am sorry you don’t know me, my name is Finnegan.” He said, sweetly. “

“ Ahhhh.” He gasped, looking straight at Trix. He walked up to her staring into her striking purple eyes. Leah stepped in front of Trix. She stared at Finnegan ready to defend Trix. Trix pushed past her squeezing her hand for reassurance. “ Your eyes are purple!” He said astounded.

“ Yes, so.” Whispered Trix her voice shaking. It was common to have different color eyes. Her sisters are green, her moms are black, her dads are blue, Leah’s are brown and her brothers are yellow. But Trix knew that deep down she was different because she had never seen one person with purple eyes other than her.

“ YOur different,” Finnegan continued.

Trix looked at the ground unaware of what to do.

“ So what she has purple eyes!” Yelled Leah.

“ Shhhhhh,” said Finnegan. “ Keep your voice down, They can’t know you are here.”

“ Who are they?” asked Trix.

Then suddenly hundreds of miniature beings marched out wearing dark purple cloaks. One came up to Trix, Leah screamed. They were too late they had found them.

Under a great cherry red mushroom tree sat an old wistful man he guided travellers and taught his knowledge to anyone who would listen. One day an equally wrinkled old man named Jerome floated down the river in a carved wooden boat he said he lost his oar. The first man named Jeremy happily agreed to help; they then came upon a kingdom with strict rules and an equally strict ruler. The two men came upon this kingdom and taught the locals kindness and respect suddenly the kingdom was a place of kindness and prosperity with forgiveness instead of punishment

The Soccer Game by Quinn M.

The Soccer Game

I watched as the flailing ball flew through the air by Mitch’s mighty kick. I was ready to pounce, the ball then landed right at my teammate’s foot and jumped straight over his midget body. The other team rallied the ball back and forth until one of them made a goal all the way on the other side of the field. The other teams’ families went ballistic. We were now tied 8 to 8, It was the last round and the whole team was nervous but ready. I rushed to the ball as it dropped from Mitch’s punt. I then had no choice but to head it to my closest teammate. I made the successful hit and the ball flew towards my teammate’s right foot. He dribbled it between his legs deflecting the other team’s tries to knock it out of his foot space. Just then he made a soaring pass to Peter. Peter juggled the ball up and down until

he made an unusually powerful kick; it felt like life was in slow motion. The ball swiftly spun at a high speed and was aiming towards the right of the goal. I thought it would soar past the goal but just then the ball took hold and ricochet off the sidebar and launched into the goalkeeper’s face, he fell to the ground in pain. Both teams (Including the goalkeeper) stared in awe as the hexagon patterned ball slowly rolled right into the making of a  winning goal. The team came into an aggressive huddle of joy and the crowd went wild!

The boat was very creaky and when we boarded the boat, it left the dock by itself. I am a wizard. A wizard that uses mushrooms. My friends are with me are a warrior, an ape, and an Emporer. We are stuck inside a cave underground.  When the boat started moving the inside of the cave lit up. After a few minutes, the boat stopped. 100 Word Challenge Week 31

I was sailing across the black sea. Hoping to return home safely. The only things I brought on my journey were food, fluid, and a two-sided oar. The only rule I restricted myself to was eating too much even when I was starving for more. If I ate too much I would soon not have enough to keep myself sustained for the rest of the trip. My clothes were wrinkled and a wistful smile spread across my face. I soon saw land, my smile turned around. Mushrooms aligned the surface of the island and I had never been happier.

Curtis had wistful eyes as he used his oar shaped wand to make the wrinkled mushroom into a bouquet of flowers. But Curtis broke the one rule. The rule could never be said. So the bouquet turned into a frog’s foot. Curtis was perplexed at the sight of the foot and decided to pick up the slimy foot and lick it! But then it turned into an Independent skateboard deck. Curtis picked up the deck and did a 360 flip into a Casper slide into a dark slide impossible out into a mega ramp and did a laser flip 1080.
