100 Word Challenge by Meya L

February11

I was walking down a deserted hallway when the yellow bicycle appeared. It just came from the right with no warning and no biker. It skidded to a stop a few feet in front of me, huffing and puffing.

“Don’t eat lucky charms tomorrow morning,” it warned.

“What?” In my world, bicycles didn’t issue warnings about cereal, let alone talk. “Why?”

“Just trust me and don’t,” the bike pleaded, getting desperate now.

My alarm beeped in the distance.

“Whatever, I’m going to wake up now,” I muttered.

“Just remember to–”

I woke up. Huh, weird dream.

And greedily devoured some lucky charms.
