When the butterfly wouldn’t take off

Beautiful, the butterfly just wouldn’t take off at any sign of danger, even when it saw the strangest stranger. When trees were falling centimeters away in the wind, they made them sway; it wouldn’t take off. I come by to stroke its wings, then I see it as the lizard’s tongue swings. Then never again will the butterfly fly.
